A Center of Innovation
Tiffin University’s Creative Arts Institute (CAI) is dedicated to fostering and supporting a culture of creativity, innovation and collaboration across our campus. Led by talented faculty who bring a broad set of professional experiences, the CAI is home to both our cutting-edge bachelor’s degree in commercial music and our professional digital media and design program.
Central to its mission, the CAI also serves as a center of innovation to develop and expand interdisciplinary activity across our University’s arts-related academic areas – including commercial music, digital media and design, strategic and mass communication, marketing, game design and web design. Through various CAI initiatives, these and other academic disciplines bring together their specialized knowledge and skills in highly collaborative projects and assignments, mirroring the work of creative professionals in the real world.
Finally, the CAI provides a dynamic creative outlet for all our student-artists. With a host of extracurricular arts offerings, TU students are able to join together around their shared interests and talents, whether in a hip-hop performance, rock musical, theatre production, dance team, ballet, gospel choir, jazz band, funk/fusion ensemble, marching band … and the creativity, innovation and collaboration at Tiffin University go on and on.
